Additional Info	Texas will be celebrating the 190th anniversary of the Revolution, and the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence in 2026. Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site is undergoing a massive redevelopment, so the Visitors Center and Star of the Republic Museum will be closed. We will host a Republic of Texas Chili Cook off and have 12 other Texas Historic Sites represented at the site, helping to tell the story of the Texas Revolution. There will be some craft demonstrators and period music and dancing. Historic performers will provide child friendly entertainment and the focus of the event will be at Barrington Plantation. The Sons of the Republic of Texas will conduct a commemorative program at 3:00.
