Additional Info	Families return every year, to the oldest continuously running Children's Kite Festival in the US, now in its 78th year. Admission is free. The craft fair is well established, with vendors returning year after year. A selected number of quality food vendors are also invited. Attendance at the festival is 2000 to 2500, mostly families and children. Children are taught how to make and fly a simple kite; all materials are included free. Awards given for the best decorated kites. There are games for the children. Professional and internationally re-known kite aviators perform demonstrations accompanied by music.
